Best tool belt system for on-site work.

Working on-site has become a huge part of my business model, and being a one-man team, I need to maximize my efficiency to save time and money. I have used a lot of tool bags, aprons, and belts but never found the best option for my needs. The pouches and hooks are all generic and don't always support all the tools or accessories I need to carry on my jobs. I end up carrying more tools with my hands, which means more trips from the truck to the site. What I was looking for was a belt system that I can customize to the job and not have to think about ways to make it happen. If you find these items to be as amazing as I do and decide to use my links, you would be helping to support my business as I earn a small commission on each purchase. Thanks for reading!

The Toughbuilt system is the best tool belt system for on-site work in my opinion

When I first found the ToughBuilt system, I was attracted to the clip mechanism they patented for their belts. Each pouch and accessory has a clip connection go on and off of the belt clips. The clips can be removed from the belt and attached to any flat rail for storage on the side of a truck or wall in the shop. This means I can create pouches and tool holsters for each type of job I am working on, then grab and go without having to switch out the actual tools. For barn doors, I need my drill pouch with bit clips and measuring tape holster with my level. For cabinets, I need my measuring tape, drill, stud finder, notepad, and fastener bag. For estimates, I need my laser measure, notepad, and tablet bag. Each one of these sets are used at different times and I just need to clip on and clip off.

The belt itself is padded with a zipper and buckle connection combo and can be adjusted to your size. The equipment is high quality, durable and fully functional without any customization. I have had my set up and been building on it for nearly a full year and have not yet ran into any issues with durability or functionality.

These are my favorite pieces to the system, the ones I use the most

Going through the entire system at first is overwhelming, especially if you don't know what you'll need or not, or how you would even use them. This is a great place to start; you get the belt, a universal tool pouch, and a measuring tape pouch. What's great about this system is the ability to add clips and pouches as you need and want. You aren't locked in place with one belt.

This is a small selection of options available

This holster fits my 25' measuring tape with the note pad, pencil and i use the side pouch for my Toughbuilt laser measuring tool.

PRO TIP: remove the clip on your measuring tap e for easier access in and out of the pouch.

The drill holsters are a must-have, with durable molded construction and lightweight design so you can hook on multiple units if needed. I like the drill bit holders and clips on the various models that make it easy to have everything I need for a job.

I love my tote for carrying all my fasteners, oscillating saw, squares, and any other tool that I don't carry in my holster. The bags have clip bars for all the holsters you might need and make for easy storage and organization. The strap and hard handle are great for safely carrying and setting down when you have 50 lbs of tools in the bag. The bags are built with the trademark heavy-duty construction that gives Toughbuilt my endorsement for the best tool belt system for on-site work.
