Halloween is right around the corner and I am always looking for ways to make cool and unique decorations for my house. My house is known as The Clown House in our neighborhood and this year we are going to continue to add to the display. I have provided some links to the items mentioned. If you happen to use these to make any purchases you would be helping me earn a small percentage of the sale, Thank you if you do!
I have begun my yearly Pinterest digging to see what I want to build this year, here is what I have found:

Number one on my list is a very simple, easy and inexpensive way to utilize a pallet you might be able to procure from your local grocery store or convenient store. a lot of times someone on Facebook marketplace will have some for sale or most of the time for free. The cool zombie guys can be found here and even they are pretty inexpensive. I have collected so many guys over the years because they are so cost effective. . All you really need is a pallet and a good old fashion hammer.

How about a creepy full sized Jack In The Box? I thought this was an awesome Idea. The user on Pinterest doesn't provide instructions but based on what I see, it cant be too difficult. I would built it with 4 pieces 3/4' plywood measuring 36"x36" and construct the box using pocket holes on the inside. If you don't have a pocket hole jig you would still connect the sides with external screw because you'll cover them up with anything you use for trim. The entire build would take a hour depending on your decorating skills. Again you can finish it off with one of these creepy clown guys. This is something I might add to my house this year

Check out this awesome Coffin. its also made using pallet wood but you can always grab some pine boards from your local big box store for relatively cheap. the user on Pinterest here provides great instructions on the box itself anyone can follow the step by step. This gives me some ideas for making it pop on the front yard.
on the interior you can uses these really cool Green Solar Lights on the inside for a cool affect. Or you can even add a hole for a fog machine with lights and make it even more creepy..
